Important EFA Fic Challenge Update!

Hey fic fans - especially fic authors - We're v. excited to see submissions already rolling in for the #WynonnaEarp #EFAFicChallenge2025! A reminder that you can submit as many fics as you like! However, only one fic per author can make it into the Top 16. 

As an exxample, last year author itsheatherwatts submitted two fics. While both technically scored highly enough to make it into the Top 16 bracket, only the highest scoring one made it thru. This is to ensure that a single author cannot dominate the bracket, or go up against themselves.

If you post a work anonymously, we will contact you in order to find out who you are BTS, so if you are submitting multiple fics, we know to pare down to the highest score for the bracket. We would never divulge your identity. We respect anyone's desire to remain anonymous online.

That being said, if you post anonymously and do not respond to our private outreach by the time the fic challenge submission period ends 6/22, we will be forced to DQ your fic. Which we DO NOT want to do. At All. But we must ensure that no one is trying to sneak multiple fics into the bracket.

TLDR;

1. Post as many fics to the challenge as you like!
2. BUT only one fic by an author can make into the bracket.
3. You MAY post anonymously to AO3 however,
4. You MUST notify us privately so we can track how many fics you're posting. 
5. EFA *will* protect your identity.
